Such a beautiful place in a relaxing, peaceful location. Everything was so clean, lots of kitchen amenities for cooking, the heated floor tiles were amazing and the fireplace was great have on at nights. Peter was a great host, very accomodating and easy to get in contact with. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back one day!

Kookaburra Cottage certainly lives up to the name. Surrounded by beautiful wildlife and the stunning cliffs of the grampians. The house is clean, modern and well equipped with everything you can think of. The wood fire was a lovely touch. Peter was incredibly accommodating in challenging COVID times. I highly recommend staying at the Kookaburra Cottage.
We’ll definitely be back. The place was perfect for a couples! stay – new and extremely clean, well appointed kitchen, plenty of space, a beautiful view from the balcony and the heated floor tiles on the bathroom made it feel luxe.
Everything about this cottage is amazing. Spotless and heaps of extras. Filtered water, speaker for your music, pantry items, coffee machine. We haven’t enjoyed anywhere as much. Stay here it is divine.
The cottage was perfect! It had everything that we needed. Even though it was very cold outside we were very warm and comfortable. Wood fires are great! Peter was an excellent host. My husband has mobility issues and Peter quickly responded to our questions re accessibility. The whole cottage was spacious enough for my husband to easily manoeuvre his walker. Not long after arriving, the kookaburras started laughing then the kangaroos and emus arrived to nibble on the grass. We will definitely be back!
What a wonderful place to stay. We loved everything about our accommodation from the super comfortable king bed, the warm tiles in the bathroom, the lovely fresh air to the visiting kangaroos. And…oh that fire! Peter was a very welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble. This has been the best
place we have ever stayed and we’re already working out when we can comeback. Highly recommend.
The cottage has a great design and all the details have been considered. Well-insulated, private, extremely clean and everything you need in the kitchen. It’s in a great location. Kangaroos, wallabies, emus, crimson rosellas and kookaburras can all be spotted nearby. From the deck you can relax with views of nature. Extremely comfortable – especially with the spa and fireplace! Peter was very responsive and accomodating. We hope to visit again

Blue Gum Cottage is worth every penny. Amazing location for serenity and an easy walk into town if you want some hubbub. Peter didn’t leave anything out with the property and it was flawless!!!
This place is amazing! Lovely location in amongst the trees, not far from town. The place is amazingly equipped with everything you would need, with cute personal touches throughout. We loved it.
